01 Who is responsible

The AI Marketing Studio is an independent marketing studio operated by Winston Gliddon, based in Cape Town, South Africa. This policy describes information handled through this website and initial project enquiries.

02 What this website collects

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, optional business website, area of interest, message and permission to contact you. You choose what to include in your message. We use this information to respond, assess whether a project is a fit, and discuss any agreed work. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, medical information or other sensitive information in the public enquiry form. The form does not accept file uploads or process payments.

Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions. Hosting requests may include technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and timestamps for site delivery, security and service operation.

03 Services that handle information

• Netlify: hosts the website and stores enquiry submissions in the studio’s Netlify account. Form notifications are configured to go to the studio’s Outlook inbox.
• Microsoft Outlook: handles messages sent to the studio mailbox and form-notification emails.
• Google Fonts: provides the website’s fonts. Loading them sends a request from your browser to Google, which includes your IP address and request/browser information. Your enquiry fields are not sent to Google Fonts by this website.

These providers may process information in countries outside South Africa. Their service terms and privacy policies describe their handling of information: Netlify, Microsoft and Google Fonts.

If the form cannot confirm delivery, the website offers an email draft or a copy-to-clipboard option. The draft opens your email application; you must send it yourself. Copying places the enquiry text on your own device’s clipboard.

There is no additional outgoing automation webhook configured for form enquiries. We do not sell your personal information. Any specialist agency involvement or additional project services will be discussed as part of the project scope before project information is shared for that work.

04 Use, storage and retention

We use enquiry information to communicate with you, consider your request and, where agreed, manage a project. We may also keep records needed for legal obligations or resolving a dispute.

Enquiry information can exist both in Netlify’s form records and in email correspondence. We retain it for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and review records for deletion when no longer needed. Deletion is a manual process; this website does not run an automatic deletion schedule. You can contact us to request removal, including from both form records and mailbox copies, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

If a project goes ahead, arrangements for private asset sharing, access, partner involvement and project-record retention will be agreed separately. The website does not train AI models on visitors or their enquiry messages.

05 Website security and tracking

The website uses HTTPS through Netlify, with browser security headers that restrict scripts, resource connections and framing. Hosting and mailbox access are managed through their respective service accounts. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

This version of the website does not include analytics scripts, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Hosting and font requests are handled by the providers described above. We will update this policy if we introduce additional tracking or materially change how the website handles information.

06 Your choices and requests

Depending on the laws that apply, you may request access to or correction of your information, request deletion, object to processing, or withdraw permission for contact. Email theaimarketingstudio@outlook.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information.

Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal. Some records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations. We will explain any relevant limitation when handling a request.

In South Africa, you can contact the Information Regulator about concerns under the Protection of Personal Information Act. If another jurisdiction applies, you may also have rights through its data-protection authority.
